KL Software Technologies (“KLST”) is looking for a 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior Azure Architect, with deep expertise in Azure cloud architecture, infrastructure, DevOps (CI/CD using Azure DevOps), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep), cost optimization, and security. Proven ability to design and deploy enterprise-scale cloud solutions, with experience in AKS, containerization, and microservices.

We are looking for a Senior Azure Architect with Technical Design strong hands-on development experience in Azure cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep), CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, comprehensive cost management and savings optimization, and security implementation. Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containerization, and microservices architecture are encouraged to apply.

Strong experience with Azure cloud platform, DevOps practices, cost optimization and savings strategies, and comprehensive security implementation to design and deploy enterprise-scale cloud solutions.

Required Skills

• Overall at least TEN (10) years “hands-on” experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure with Azure, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security services
• Minimum of FIVE (5) years hands-on experience with Azure architecture design and implementation, including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateway, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, and Network Security Groups
• Minimum of THREE (3) years hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD implementation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep), and automated deployment strategies
• Minimum of THREE (3) years hands-on experience with Azure cost optimization and savings including detailed cost analysis, budget management, Azure Advisor recommendations, Reserved Instances (RIs), Azure Savings Plans, Spot VMs, resource right-sizing, and eliminating waste through unused resources identification
• Strong experience implementing cost savings strategies including Azure Hybrid Benefit for Windows and SQL Server, license optimization, storage tier optimization (Hot/Cool/Archive), and cost-effective service tier selection
• Expertise in Azure Cost Management and Billing tools including cost allocation tags, showback/chargeback models, budget alerts, and cost anomaly detection to achieve 20-40% cost savings
• Experience with Azure cost governance including subscription management, resource group organization, and policy-driven cost controls to prevent budget overruns
• Minimum of THREE (3) years hands-on experience with Azure security implementation including Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Key Vault, and network security
• Worked with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, containerization, and microservices architecture
• Strong experience with Azure monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights) for performance optimization and cost tracking
• Strong experience designing highly available and disaster recovery solutions with defined RPO/RTO objectives while balancing cost and performance
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for cost optimization automation and resource lifecycle management
• Strong experience with Azure governance, compliance, and policy implementation using Azure Policy and Azure Blueprints
• Proven track record of reducing cloud costs by identifying and implementing savings opportunities including auto-scaling, scheduled shutdowns, orphaned resource cleanup, and optimal resource sizing
• Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal required)

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• Additional Azure certifications (Azure Security Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator)
• Experience with FinOps practices and cloud financial management frameworks
• Knowledge of third-party cost optimization tools (CloudHealth, Cloudability, Azure Cost CLI)
• Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures
• Knowledge of Azure landing zones and enterprise-scale architecture frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture
• Experience with Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, and data migration strategies
• Good knowledge of Azure serverless technologies (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid) for cost-effective solutions
• Good experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
