What is the difference between imDocShare and netDocShare?
imDocShare integrates iManage Work with Microsoft 365. netDocShare integrates NetDocuments with Microsoft 365. Both let users view, edit, co-author, search, sync and provision DMS content in SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive while the DMS remains the single system of record.
How do imDocShare and netDocShare support business continuity?
Sync keeps a live mirror of DMS content in SharePoint. If the DMS becomes unavailable, attorneys can open and keep working on mirrored content in Microsoft 365 with no helpdesk ticket, and edits sync back automatically once the DMS is restored.
Does syncing DMS content to SharePoint enable Microsoft Copilot?
Yes. Microsoft Copilot cannot index a third-party document management system directly. Synchronizing matter content into SharePoint with imDocShare Sync or netDocShare Sync makes that content available to Copilot and to Copilot agents built on firm documents.
